Christian Ochoa
Class of 04.
Best class for so many reasons. We were the first to do it there. You could feel it in the comradery whether it was pep rallies, sports, kissing cheeks in the hallways, etc… There was a special energy about our class.
Till this day, the people who show the most love, support and encouragement are all my classmates. Wild that we all have social media now a days and can keep up with each others moments be it becoming parents, promotions, birthdays or sadly but unavoidably losing loved ones. I can say I’ve bared witness to so many of those moments of your lives and all of them make my heart swell. I do love the class of 04.
I think it’s time I reveal those who were not privy of their secret. It’s time. 20 years. I’m sorry to those who didn’t want me to reveal this but my options are limited and I must. I, Christian Ochoa, was Vinny the Viper. It’s true. Search deep down and you will see it. Not for all Pep Rallies. Mr. Jaramillo reigned supreme donning the snake skin. But for a few- I happily shed my own layer to become Vinny. And God damnit I loved it.
I now live in London. Married and have a step son I adore. Border Collie by the name of River and two Tuxedo cats named Freyja and Mowgli. I love life in England. It’s quiet and contrary to all our beliefs, I’ve never seen a crumpet. Not one. Not once. Sausage rolls with HP sauce is my new pastelito de carne. Flat white the new cafe con leche.
I truly enjoy watching you all grow up- especially your families. Te quiero con cojones.
Your valedictorian,
Christian Ochoa
